If the Sabres are going to beat the San Jose in the Shark Tank, they better score more goals

"So much has changed in Buffalo since Kane left town."

Really...Has it? Cause I'm not seeing it. Sorry to say this, but I don't see Eichel as captain material. A captain to me is someone that leads by example, has a strong voice and presence in the room, can be looked up to in times when you need someone to "just do something" to change the mood, the momentum. He has shown none of those qualities to this point.

For the love of God will Buffalo just get the never ending pain of watching Housley ineptly coach a team over with. They need to face the fact that he is not a head coach in this league at this point and this team is not even in the zipcode of being able to wait for a rookie coach to figure it out. I would have thought that a complete season of this crap last year would have been more than plenty for the GM to figure that one out, but alas, this is a Buffalo sports team. They better start posting warning signs by the drink carts and taco bars at the arena now cause I got a funny feeling Botterill will be flipping out on them again real soon...

Well I guess Eichel lost the battle with Kane this time.

Growing up, Dahlin admired Karlsson for his multi-faceted game, combining offensive skill with the ability to play in his own zone. Dahlin plays that same style, and he was compared to the two-time Norris Trophy winner by scouts throughout his draft year.

Except he can't.

I think Dahlin is already better defensively than Karlsson has ever been at anytime in his career.
